Project Update: Mallory-Neely House

The Mallory-Neely House is located at 652 Adams Ave. in Victorian Village, an area formerly known as “Millionaires’ Row” for the grand Victorian mansions that lined the street at the turn of the century. Built around 1852, the house had several owners including, Isaac Kirtland, Daniel Grant and Barton Le Mallory.

During the 1880s and 1890s, the house underwent several renovations that ultimately extended the ground floor and raised the tower at the front of the house. Daisy Neely Mallory lived in the house until her death at age 98 in 1969. The house is now open for tours and is a part of the Pink Palace Family of Museums.

Our team was selected by the city of Memphis to generate a Historic Structures Report. Working with a team of engineers and general contractors, we will document the entire property and provide a written report and cost estimate for all necessary repairs. We will prioritize them for the city to generate a plan for the continued upkeep and maintenance of the house. The project kicked off May 1, 2015, and should be complete in August 2015.
